My first beading endeavor was in a workshop for the peyote stitch;
the second included weaving threads with beads. After that, the
hunt was on for all manner of interesting and colorful beads.
It wasn’t a very long stretch to start including beading with my
collage and assemblage wildlife pieces. Simple or elaborate, the
beads have added an element of visual interest that interrelates well
with the main focus of the entire piece.
The pieces on this
page are my favorites from a large inventory of many years’ work,
from short and simple styles to long and elaborate. Each is a
one-of-a-kind piece. Some have been sold, some I have kept in
my own collection, and some are available for sale.
